Earlier last month, MedeAnalytics announced that Wise Health System, based in Decatur, Texas and affiliated with Baylor Scott & White Health, will expand its partnership with MedeAnalytics by leveraging its analytics platform and deep financial expertise across all segments of the revenue cycle – patient access, mid-cycle and the business office.
Following the announcement, Lynn Giddens-Branscum, Revenue Cycle Director at Wise Health System, spoke with Jacqueline DiChiara of RevCycleIntelligence.com to offer her perspective on the following:
- how providers and patients alike are left behind when revenue cycle snares ensue
- where top industry focuses are as the end of 2015 comes to a close
During the interview, Lynn also discussed how Wise Health System is striving to gain a more holistic view into their revenue cycle with the help of MedeAnalytics to improve their real-time data collection and point-of-service endeavors.
For example, “helping patients better understand the caveats within their policies so they'll have a realistic expectation of what their patient portions are going to be helps the revenue cycle.”
