MedeAnalytics Client to Speak at HFMA’s 2016 National Institute

On Tuesday, June 28 Brookwood, Brookwood Baptist Health will be presenting at the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s (HFMA) 2016 National Institute in Las Vegas.

Rosh Plugge, director of revenue systems, and Pete Welch, M.B.A., senior revenue cycle analyst of Brookwood Baptist Health, will share how analytics enabled them to pinpoint trends, analyze root causes, and resolve issues encountered when moving to an electronic health record system—all in an effort to meet the demands of population health and value-based reimbursement. During this process, Brookwood Baptist Health was able to:

  • Efficiently manage month-end reserves
  • Track and trend self-pay and point-of-service collections
  • Reduce AR days
