Brian joined MedeAnalytics in October 2023 bringing more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, 20 of those years as an RN and 15+ years in analytics, value-based care, and product development. As Vice President & Managing Director of Strategic Consulting, Brian leads our consulting practice focused on helping clients advance their value-based care strategies, deliver phenomenal outcomes to their populations, and assist organizations across the healthcare vertical with their most pressing clinical, operational and outcomes challenges.
Brian is a healthcare clinician, executive and innovator and has experience in developing analytical and informatics teams, as well as designing and building machine learning and artificial intelligence systems and strategies. Prior to MedeAnalytics, he was the Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics officer at Indiana University Health where he successfully launched Google’s Healthcare data engine, a first-of-its kind system in the healthcare industry. He has worked at several of the largest healthcare and consulting institutions, including Lutheran Health Network, Triad Hospitals, Inc., Deloitte, Catholic Health Initiatives, Aledade and Marathon Health. In addition, he’s won three national innovation data and software development challenges. He works efficiently across multiple domains including advanced data science, clinical processes and operations, and non-clinical operations, bringing his extensive skillset to solve complex problems while building high-performing teams.
Brian has an Associate in Science and Nursing from Purdue University, a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, and a Master of Business Administration with specialization in healthcare management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
