Richardson, Texas – (October 27, 2021) MedeAnalytics, a healthcare analytics software-as-a-service (SaaS) leader, announced today the appointment of David Schweppe to chief analytics officer (CAO). Schweppe has more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare data, analytics and reporting, including 20 years as a buyer of analytics software products and services. In his role, Schweppe will provide key leadership to the company’s market, product and technology strategies. Additionally, he will help MedeAnalytics clients identify and implement best in class analytical strategies and solutions to realize the value of informed data-driven decision making.

Schweppe held the role of National Vice President, Customer Analytics and Reporting at Kaiser Permanente where he led the strategy, building, and maintenance of an industry leading reporting and analytics function across the organization’s enterprise, bringing him end-to-end knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem. In this capacity, David led the Customer Reporting and Value Demonstration teams at Kaiser Permanente and was responsible for determining the current and future information needs of Kaiser Permanente and their downstream clients, partners and markets.

Additionally, Schweppe currently serves as the Treasurer, Board of Directors, and Research Committee for the Health Enhancement Research Organization. Over his long career he has held a number of leadership and advisory positions with employer, government and care organizations.  He has also led initiatives with solutions providers, serving in an advising capacity to numerous medical technology startups on product development and marketing strategies.

Schweppe has a Master of Public Health degree from California State University at San Jose and a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics from the University of California at Davis. Additionally, he is a Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) from the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
